Clients from Hell on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Damn you whiterabbit, I can’t stop reading Client From Hell now.

The best thing is that, I can feel the pain each and every entry there oozes out ”orz

Also, my personal experience of a Client from Hell. One among many. From the same person mostly ;__;

Client: You know what’s your problem? You don’t show much enthusiasm to learn new things. If it was me, take design for example; I may not know much about design now, but if I’m to attend classes starting today, I’m sure I’ll be better than you in 6 months time
Me: Why yes, I believe you can try

In reply to my my answer in telling said person that it’s impossible for me to learn how to ‘master’ AutoCAD by calling long distance to the HQ in China, talk to the engineer there in Mandarin (which I am not all that good in) in two weeks time.

Weekend is … on Monday, December 28th, 2009

- sleeping only to wake for breakfast; napping only to wake for lunch, and before you knew it – dinner was served

- obsessively playing Tokimemo GS2 for another ED because you can’t stand to hear Majima Tarou on the intro screen

- alternately, obsessively playing Final Fantasy IV which had been abandoned for goodness know how many months. Got out of the Underworld, only to fall right back in. GJ, Cecil, GJ ”orz

- being ambushed by my dogs unexpectedly. In my own room, in the living room and pretty much everywhere else in the house.

- learning how to play Poem for Everyone’s Soul / ???????? on the piano. Had not touched the piano for a good 9-10 years. My fingers are like bricks one moment and jelly the next ”orz

- making my Mum got addicted to playing Monopoly Deal XD

- learning how to solve the rubik’s cube. Finally.

- good :Dbbb

So this is the last week of the year 2009. Somehow, it feels kind of sad .. ???????????????how did the year 2009 went for everyone?

HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE! on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

Ah well, I’m still an hour before the day is over and is now soooooo…. everyone had your ??/tang yuan?

There’s this saying that everyone should at least eat one tang yuan/tong yuen per year as an indication that a year had passed and you’re older/wiser by a year. A story I heard since I was a kid, but never really paid all that much attention to mainly because I get stuck in University and work most of the time during these season since I got out of school and never really had much of a chance to celebrate it with the family.

Anyways, what kicked me out of my blogging funk is an adorable message from my GrandAunt. I texted her about 7p.m. earlier when I realised that today IS supposed to be a rather big celebratory day for the Chinese community ( though even though it’s called Winter Solstice, I’d NEVER experience winter in all my life. Woes ). In which I said :

“Happy Winter Solstice! I just realised I haven’t had any tong yuen for YEARS!”

… and she replied about a minute after my message went through ( I was really rather surprised that she can text this fast! I was the one who taught her how to text message, so I have a small bit of happy teacher’s pride there )

“So, I guess u r still 22 then!”

Awwww… my grandaunt says the most adorable thing (;A;)/ ( Also, note her usage of U R as short form! I AM IMPRESSED XDDDbbbb )

M-more puppies? O.o on Friday, July 10th, 2009

My pair of Pomeranians had been busy without us realising >.> About six months after the previous litter which gave us Milo and Mocha ( both brown in colour ), now we probably have … Coffee and Milk? @.@

I was told the fair coloured one is really reaaaaaaaaally fat XDDD I saw him already last weekend when I was back in my hometown and they both looks so so so fluffy!

Two days back, my brother called me to tell me that the dark coloured pup ( smaller of the two ) had opened her eyes :3 Strangely enough, the elder one haven’t yet? @.@;

There were three puppies in this litter actually.. but the smallest died several days after it was born much to the shock of my family >.> My little brother buried it at the small playground/field area in front of our house T.T

Too bad I don’t think we’ll be keeping the both of them this time @.@ Having four dogs running around the house is already a bit too much for my family to worry about T.T

Greetings from behind the Great Wall on Saturday, March 21st, 2009

Oh hay. I’m still alive. It had just been a rather busy week at work and I tend to spend my boring nights locked away in my room playing Suikoden Tierkreis obsessively ( PS2 controller died. Need to get replacement. My heart ache for Persona 4 ~~~~~ TwT )

Also, being sent here and basically works and stay in the factory in a far off industrial area with nothing much for miles is giving me valid excuse to be an obsessive gamer with no life. Whooops?

Since I’m lazy to blog about the daily oddities ( and I ever feel so out of place sometimes … ), I hereby present random observations I had in point forms :D

#1. Donkey meat easily breaks. Like that of a fish. Tastes not like chicken.
#2. Even if I have nine lives, I will not drive in China. Ever.
#3. Maybe it’s just the small outskirt town area I’m in at the moment, Ah Beng/Lala fashion are everywhere.
#4. Chinese advertisement here involved too much text, idgi. As someone who studied media design it confuses me a bit. Or maybe it’s just the fact that I can’t read Chinese. Billboards, bus ads, signages… they are all mostly text and gives me a bit of a headache.
#5. It’s pretty hazy here where I am. Maybe because it’s in the industrial zone? Ach, it dampens my mood
#6. I think the big boss here thinks I’m a small kid because of how I look. He gave me a light pat on the head @.@ which was rather hilarious and awkward.
#7. It’s getting warmer and warmer already. The cold spring weather last week is totally gone. It almost feels like Malaysia =.=; I missed the colddddd
#8. China’s KFC is weirddddddd. They don’t have Original Recipe chickens and they serves roast chickens?! @.@;; I missed my Malaysian KFC waaaa

So this is week two. I don’t feel too homesick yet though I was ranting profusely two days back at Rach about the sort of Malaysian food I’m starting to miss :\ so uhmmm … I’m food-sick? But the food is really rather good here so far. ( It just doesn’t taste like home :( )
