Dearest aya
Please do not try to gauge the time in the morning by the amount of sunlight in your room during monsoon seasons. It was nine kinds of STUPID kthxbai.
No love,
Your much ignored alarm clock + handphone alarm
So, I woke up late again. At around 9:50a.m. in the morning TWICE in a row. But the weather was absolutely beautiful with a light drizzle and overcast skies ( it felt like a sin to crawl out of bed ) But I panicked as I saw the green digits flashing back at me when I finally did check my alarm and rushed headon straight into an equally shocked housemate ( that keeps disappearing anyway, that’s why I jumped when I saw him walking around in the living room WTF ) I was SO not ready for any excitement of such when I just woke up. And thank goodness I was decently dressed albeit sporting my unbrushed morning hair.
I managed to get ready in a mere 15 minutes ( not really a record, it’s just that if I minus the usual rolling around in bed and tinkering here and there, I CAN get ready in a short time XD ) and rushed downstairs to get my car. As I was running towards my car which was parked near the next apartment block, I looked up the sky and felt the light drizzle of rain pattered on my face. The gentle breeze that took the moment to start playing with my hair made me stopped running and settled on a more comfortable pace; walking slowly and humming a little to my car.
I hate waking up in the morning a lot and is usually in a semi-bad mood before I get fully awake when lunch time rolled over. But I am really thankful for small and unimportant things as such that can make me feel much better; even in my groggiest and most rushed (not so early ) morning.
