And we travelled 915km since Thursday .. on Sunday, June 29th, 2008

Got back from a crazy cross country road trip last night. My MMU pals and me set out from Selangor to Kedah for beloved friends wedding ( Us girls were the sister entourages :D Booya was assigned as the cameraman and Jeff was one of the traitorous brother entourage XDD )

I did not realised how exhausting it was until I crashed home and took my bath last night since I took half the share driving ( though I believe the exhaustion will be worse for Booya since he drove us to Penang as well before driving half the route home).

As I reached home last night, I realised that I was in six different states in a span of one week counting from Sunday -> Saturday. I was in Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Kedah and Penang in no particular order. In ONE week @_@

Oh, but it was massively fun <3

PS : I’m not going to Shenzhen tomorrow as scheduled O_O; My boss called me up and told me the working trip will be postphoned til the 14th because he wasn’t free to accompany me there.

And it means I’ll be missing DARK KNIGHT NOESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!! T_____T

PPS : Shit, I’ll be missing The X-Files on the 24th of July too??! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOESSSSS !!! *headdesk*

Hong Kong Day Two on Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

So day two of Hong Kong. Which is a fresh start for me since I arrived close to midnight the day before. Was really excited because I’ll be meeting up with Lorraine for Disneyland. We decided to head around Mongkok looking for breakfast before doing anything else since we estimated we’ll be stuck in Disneyland the entire day anyway.

After breakfast we met up with Lorraine at the Mongkok Station before we head to Disneyland via the same mode of transportation. Moona, Emily and me bought the special Disneyland pass which ALL the personnels from the MTR themselves insisted are not worth it XD; Oh well, it’s just for a keepsake you know :P

Random shots during the train ride. This has to be the cutest train I’d ever been on :D

After the 40 mins(?) train exchanges and rides, we were finally there!

Penelope : A fairytale like no other on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

When I was in Hong Kong I was bombarded by two movie trailers EVERYWHERE I go (especially on the MTR station ) One being the hyped up sequel of Narnia – Prince Caspian ( HAY BEN BARNES <3 ) and another .. something I did not hear about at all -- Penelope.

I was wholly amused by the trailer initially but something else caught my eyes. The guy is HOT <3 I was truly annoyed at the fact that he looks damned familiar but I can not seem to place his face nor name ( his name was in Chinese. We were afterall in HK ) Emily couldn't help either because English names sounds awfully weird when it's translated to Chinese ( but she had to endure my gushing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I walk pass the screen showing the trailer XDD )

In the end ( after a day of two in the whole trip tbh ), it was Moona to the rescue. She went : "James McAvoy? He's Mr. Tumnus, y'know. Narnia"

Que me going "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!!"

Yeah, I'm dumb like that.

Penelope

Movie is so adorable and whimsical. Light hearted and fairytale like, if you are like me who had never really grown up from enjoying stories that you want a happily ever after for, Penelope is a fun movie to watch. ( PS : James McAvoy is HOT. YES, HOT )

PS : Watched The Happening by M Night Shamalan last night with Emily and Rachel, the movie left me with the word “WUT!?! Millennium hands and shrimps!” on top of my head halfway through until when the credit rolls. It’s.. lukewarm. Uhm. Yeah, like War of the World, lukewarm. Never really know what’s the fuss was all about. If it’s massive creepy grand scale epidemic/outbreak movies I kinda preferred The Invasion more? And I really need to watch Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Hong Kong Day One? on Sunday, June 15th, 2008

I just realised it’s almost a month since I packed and flew off to Macau/HK for my trip ( and of course, the main reason being there for L’Arc~en~Ciel’s L’7 tour :3 ) — and I had not actually.. wrote anything about it *lazyyyyyy*

Uhmmm Day 1 wasn’t much except for a huge hiccup on the flight plan and I ended up in Macau around 7:30p.m. instead of 2:00p.m. ;___; Took the bus and then the ferry over to Hong Kong to finally meet up with Emily who had reached about half the day earlier XD;;; Nothing much to talk about really except that :

Wagon Noodles bowl is HUGEEEEEEEE. I definitely can never EVER finishes it up myself. But it’s really rather nice :3 ( Is it just me or is the food portion at Hong Kong rather big? :\ )

Wagon Noodle @ Mongkok Wagon Noodle @ Mongkok

This was my first proper meal in Hong Kong :3 And it’s the most expensive bowl of Chinese noodles I’d ever eaten too XDD ( BYE BYE HKD48 XD;; ) The broth is actually peppery and it’s filled with so many random vegetable, meat, unidentified meat-stuff and just a small portion of noodles :3~

Interesting find at 12 midnight in Mongkok ( we stayed at a budget hostel at the area ^^v )

Day 02 was a full day at Disneyland and misadventure ordering food XD Stay tuned!

Freedom no more on Thursday, June 12th, 2008
