The things that happened on a Sunday morning on Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

So I’d got a call from my hometown friend – Agatha, earlier after I finished breakfast with my family in my hometown:

Agatha : Hey! You awake? Wanna go play badminton?
Me : I’m definitely awake. Sure! :DDD
Agatha : Awesome! I’ll get Jen to pick you up then. He knows where you stay right?
Me : I’ll kick his arse if he doesn’t know ( since we’d been classmate for so damned long )
Agatha : I’ll see you later then. The court is booked for 11 o’clock but we’re meeting for breakfast first in .. uhhhh 15 minutes.
Me : No problem XD

A few minutes later; the phone rang again :

Jen : Hey you awake?
Me : DUHHHHH
Jen : You know how to do sports? I mean, you’re like small and … yanno.. TINY
Me : STFU! D:< I'll murder you later when I see you!
Jen : LOL. So well, you still stay in Pelangi right?

*DING DING DING!!!* ( bells of warning )

Me : … err … you guys in KL now?
Jen : Yeah…?
Me : DUDE I’M IN HOMETOWN THIS WEEKEND LOLOLOL
Jen : ……
Jen : =_= Did you and Agatha even TALKED about this?!
Me : We did but… we forgot to ask each other where we are ? XD;;
Jen : You sure you’re totally awake? Oy…
Me : LOLOLOLOLOLOL Oh gawd sorry, I’ll call Agatha to let her know HAHAHAHAHHAHA
Jen : Idiots >_>
Me : AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA *gasps* AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And the above two conversation took place in my Dad’s car. With the rest of my family in it. They all gave me a “……” look XD;; Although not entirely surprised that I’m THAT hopelessly blur by now, this kinda just hiked it up another notch.

XDDDDD

Okay damnit, I should never assume that when my hometown friends call me nowadays, they’re IN my hometown XD;; Also errr.. yeah my usual friendly conversation with Jen is pretty much like that. Since we knew each other when we were 14. Some thing never seemed to change even after all these years

Guangzhou PhotoLog on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

So, Lian Hua Mountain. Which I think translated to “Lotus Mountain”.

There was this famous local delicacy called the “Ox Milk Pudding” here. The texture is like a mix between Tofufah and steamed egg :3 My relatives gave us a bunch of those to bring home ^^v

Random pictures from LianHua Mountain.

#01. The Golden Guan Yin statue towers over us. The entire outdoor area is filled with smokes from the incense. There was a huge bell that you can ring yourself too. It’s kinda soothing to hear. ( And also, the vegetarian food here is sooooooo goooood )

#02. Temple guardian. I’m not sure what it’s called in English but my little brother’s name is based of this mystical creature. And he’s born in the year of the Dragon XD Double the awesomeness

#03. I can’t resist feeling so stupidly happy. The first time I saw the gate of this miniature fort I just went “AN ENEMY OFFICER HAD FALLEN TO MY SPEAR!” Damn you, Dynasty Warriors.

(more…)

Madagascar 2 : Escape 2 Africa

I’d got a jaw ache the first 30 minutes into watching this two nights back. And pretty much exhausted myself laughing all the way to the end XDD

And I still have that stupid song stuck in my head til now aaaaaaaaaaaa !! Also, PENGUINS FTW!!!

OHAY I’m still alive on Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Wow. Thank you Jeff for reminding me that I’d been letting this place to collect dusts. Those who don’t know me IRL might had thought I’d disappeared in Guangzhou XDD ( Guangzhou was EXCELLENT, and I really fell in love with the food there I almost wished I didn’t have to come back )

Photo taken when I was walking towards my Grand Uncle’s house

Seriously, the food. It’s AMAZING aaaaaaaa ( also, my relatives there really indulged us ;A; And I get to eat roast goose nearly everyday *lovessssss* Best thing since sliced bread? Possibly best thing even before bread was invented ♥ )

Also, don’t ask me about the various unidentifiable animal parts that I’d eaten. Anyway, it felt like a thousand and one things had happened since I got back from the trip and I’d been too lazy to write. Namely :

Catching up with work in the office *headdesk* Is not really good especially since I’d been away on a fun week-long holiday.

Fion and Darren’s wedding. They’re my hometown schoolmates and I was part of the sister entourage. Much lulz ensued when the brother entourage were pretty much pwned upside down by the girls. Also, meeting up with friends I had not seen in YEARS was so strange and yet so heart warming ;A; Plus it’s hilarious to see your ex-classmates whom you’d known for so many years drunk XD

Dad’s birthday! Happy 50th birthday this year, Dad! ( We went out for dinner and had a small celebration. His god-son brought cake ) Sorry I spent like most of the time at home playing Gundam 00 : Gundam Meisters with lil’ brother and not doing much else ^^;;

Mel and Jijoe’s wedding! This is the first Malay wedding I’d ever attended. The atmosphere was wildly different from the rowdy Chinese weddings I’d attended so far XD Congrats to both of you!

Is still playing Hakuouki like the fangirl I am. Only now I can distract myself combo chaining in Gundam 00 when I feel particularly destructive ( the combo chaining was funnn albeit kinda stressful ). Toudou Heisuke full CGs GET! <3 Two.. more... characters to go..

I’d got a bunch of stuff over last weekend. My VAMPS’ Birthday tour pamphlet from Azuzora ( yaaaay thanks! ), chocolates from whiterabbit who got it from Singapore and ELIZABETH’S PLUSHIE from Jeff XDDD

Watched a bunch of movies in the cinema over the few weeks. Hana Yori Dango Final ( it’s light weight fun but it ended up booooooooooring because it’s TOO DAMNED LONG. And not enough Rui and Naohito Fujiki ;A; ), Tropics Thunder ( LOVED IT XDDD It’s so sad that Malaysian cinema are so behind with these releases :\ ) and Quantum of Solace ( WTF. I hate the title sequence and song. But the movie was pretty entertaining )

Penang trip with my ex-colleagues over the weekend. Awesome AWESOME fun food filled short trip! Will hopefully post pictures later? 8D;;

I may be the slowest j-rock fan in this part of the world but I’d just discovered that X-Japan will be having a concert in Bangkok on 31st January! BANGKOK, THAILAND! WE’RE PRACTICALLY NEIGHBOURS!!! is totally plotting and saving money to haul my ass over there already

Sam’s coming back to Malaysia this week! I missed her so much and I hope we’ll both find time to hang out before she has to fly back to Australia

Coincidentally, today is November 18th. Marking a full year since I cheered, laughed and cried at beloved Siam Shade’s reunion concert in Japan last year. Time really does fly ;A;

Also, I’d finally sorted through my Guangzhou photos folder. I’m probably too lazy to write about it in details, so expect photo-log to kill your bandwidth? 8Dv
