I’d just got a call from my Mum. Apparently our family home in the hometown was broken into. There is a hole in the main gate now and the glass door is broken. And my GrandAunt’s room is a giant mess now.

The incident was found out by my little brother who was the first to get home in the afternoon. He was fooling around with the souvenir brought home by my GrandAunt a few days back in the living room; before he headed up to his own room and met the thief halfway up.

My little brother was playing with a set of katana. Unsharpened and of course, for decoration. But MAAAAANNN, if only he was still holding on to that when he went to his room. Even though he can’t really hurt anyone with the blade, at least he still can bump something nasty on the bastard’s head when he saw him…

I’m just glad that my brother was not hurt though. Thief ran past him as soon as he was discovered and I was really glad that he didn’t have the time to go through the other rooms in the house yet >_> ( mainly my parents’ room. Mine, is a-okay as long as he didn’t touch my DVDs and music CD collections @_@ )

  6. Jive : I’m not sure whether he got a good look at him or not. I haven’t been home to check out the damage nor talk to my brother about it much.

    But he did mentioned that the thief is a kid in his teen :\ I agree with you and Sam about the police in the country. Corrupted losers are a good enough way to describe them :\ It’s sad to think that they’re supposed to be the ones protecting citizens. But I’ll rather trust a dog than them police to save me in need. Ugh.

  7. Sam : Hahaha I will be hunting down the thief if he made away with my limited edition albums and stuff DDDD: I have such messed up priorities T__T

    So you had bad brushes with the police too? I was treated horribly by them when I reported that someone rammed into my car and drove off. The bastard.

    And you know what? According to my brother, he lost his wallet that he put in the living room AFTER the polices came to survey the damage ( as he was sure that it was with him when he found the thief ) ARGHH!

  8. whiterabbit : Thankfully the biggest damage so far was on the gate and the glass door T__T And yeah, my Uncle’s money ( since his room is the only bedroom on the ground floor so the thief went in there straight )

  9. Did his wallet have all those valuable stuff in it..

    I’d hate to be him and line up in the immigration place for a new IC/driving licence / god know what else…

    Sit there for hours on end watching the que just get longer and longer lol..

  10. Sam : Well, his IC and driving license are all in it so it’s pretty messed up :\ And to think he had to report it about an hour or two after the theft. Sucks major T__T

    Nah he has his PSP he’ll be fine waiting lol

  11. GAH! What a horrible thing….did the police ever catch the perp? And thank the gods your little brother wasn’t hurt, you never know what the bad guys will do during moments like that!

    Comment by Psyienna — June 17, 2007 @ 12:34 pm

  12. Psy : I wouldn’t count on the local police to ever catch thieves like this EVER T___T I have absolutely no confidence in Malaysian police at all ^^;;;

    But yes, like you’d said; I was really really glad that my brother was unharmed T3T The thief was a kid as well so I guess he was scared too.. I just don’t dare to imagine what will happen if there was a group of them >_<
