The playground of two ex-colleagues turned buddies in geekery and randomness. Domain is share equally by both madhatter and whiterabbit. Any other beings you see running around are hosted by the two scatter brain web-mistresses. This started out from a dull procrastinating day at work when we realised both our blogs has a similiar theme in the naming convention. Her’s is more obvious with her net handle and blog title whereas for mine .. err … you’ll probably have to squint to see the Alice in Wonderland theme going on ( *coughs* Through the looking glass, y’know. into the mirror. HAR HAR I AM GENIUS 8D ) Hostee will be considered if you play by the wonderland’s rules, else just roam around and join the teaparty.
The mad-hatter. Or better known as “aya” nickname-wise because part of my full name does translate to “AYA” in Japanese. Known among close circle of friends from University as “Noie”. Malaysian-born-Chinese. Family of six ( Father, Mother, two younger brothers and my beloved GrandAunt ). Banana ( if you don’t understand it, you’re definitely not from my shore 
) Ironically, can read and write in Japanese better than Chinese |||ORZ. Speaks English, Malay language, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese in various degree of proficiency. Loves learning languages in general but hated exams ( Is pathetically bad in grammar unfortunately ). Short and has shorter temper.
Was a semi-nerd who’s rather out of loop and obsessed with grades when everyone else was obsessing about boys in school. I mean, c’mon I can’t help it, my classes were full with over achievers and students who topped all the exams and high up posts in school. The pressure was sky high. Love and hate the University where I graduated from. Hated the sucky education system but loves what I found for myself there. Friends who like me for who I am and I gradually like myself better. Sent me into a downward spiral of insanity til today upon discovery what a full blooded geek I am about various subjects and never looked back since. Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Multimedia. Graphic Designer. Full time fangirl of Japanese rock music, manga, console gaming and movies. Apparently I have ossan complex. And I am shamelessly and hopelessly obsessed with hyde from L’Arc~en~Ciel.
Love my family and friends above all. And money. Who doesn’t?
Love music. Specifically Japanese mainstream rock music and many disbanded ones ( since I’m now pretty much a geezer fan of geezer bands who had been around for at least 10 years or so. My fandom years, I didn’t realised until I started counting! O_O ) Ex-visual kei fan back in University but found it hard to keep up with newer bands once I started working. So I’m stuck with the bands that pulled me through those midnight oil burning nights like glue.
Three bands I adore unconditionally : Siam Shade, GLAY, L’Arc~en~Ciel among the many others I listen to. I still don’t know how I managed to scrap up money to travel to two L’Arc~en~Ciel concerts overseas. Twice : 2005 + 2008. And the legendary Siam Shade Reunion concert in 2007 ( OH HAY ANYONE WANTS MY KIDNEY? I HAVE TWO ). Yes, that is the extent of my obsession ( I’m sorry GLAY, I’ll DEFINITELY see you guys live one day! <3 )

B'z, BUMP OF CHICKEN, the pillows, UVERworld, Plastic Tree, Janne da Arc, the Underneath, Base Ball Bear, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, THE BABYSTARS, Kagrra, SID, Mr. Children, Goo Goo Dolls, 五月天, My Aunt Mary, Lifehouse, wyse, Do As Infinity, Drug Store Cowboy, Dope HEADz, La'cryma Christi, TRANSTIC NERVE, hide, Luna Sea, baroque, Lareine, ZEPPET STORE, X-Japan, HYDE, AYA, Takui Nakajima, Shiina Ringo.
Gamer girl though only plays the consoles and handhelds. Never seem to master the art of playing games on the PC. ( Controller FTW! ) PlayStation fangirl ( have yet to get a PS3 though ) and Nintendo DS is absolute love. No love for X-Box in any form from me hur hur. Plays mostly Japanese RPGs on consoles and random games on DS. Has bad hand-eyes coordination for most action games.
Rabid Suikoden fangirl. Not so rabid Final Fantasy fangirl although Final Fantasy VII + VII : Crisis Core + XII are exceptions. III on the NDS is love. IV will be mineeeeeee soon <3 Shadow Hearts, Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon. Is stupidly obsessed with Dynasty Warriors. Ace Attorney, Katamari Damashii, The World Ends with You, Tokimeki Memorial Girls' Side, Ouendan, Okami, are among the favorites.
Manga. Grew up with them. Loves various Shonen JUMP series and is following One Piece religiously. I worship Oda on a special altar and love all the Mugiwara crew to no end. Loves shoujou manga but aren’t so vocal about them. Mangaka I love are Eiichiro Oda, Takehiko Inoue, Kaori Yuuki and Urusawa Naoki <-- story-telling GOD OMG ( apart from Oda, but they're in different genre anyway 
)
I love movies but it'll kill me to list all that I loved. I have fun following random J-drama and K-drama. Hates Taiwan- pop-idol drama with absolute passion because I think they can't act to save their lives. And please stop raping my favourite shoujou manga series over and over again kthaxbai. Gundam geek, so please don't ask me about this.
Books. Terry Pratchett is my inspiration. Neil Gaiman's writing takes my breath away. I love good old horror, fantasy and mystery genre and read many other titles in between.
